Stop saying powered by AI.
In 2023, saying your product was powered by AI was a useful signal. It told customers you were paying attention, and it told investors you were not going to get left behind. In 2026, it tells customers nothing, because everything is powered by AI, and it tells investors that you have not thought hard about what you actually do.
A short list of phrases to retire. Powered by AI. AI driven. Leveraging large language models. Next generation intelligence. Smarter, faster, better. Each of these used to be a claim. Now they are wallpaper.
What to say instead. Name the job. Name the user. Name the before and the after. If the AI part matters, describe what it lets you do that you could not do before, in language a thoughtful customer would actually use. If the AI part does not matter, do not mention it.
The companies that will look credible at the end of this decade are the ones that talk about their work, not their stack. The model is a tool. The job is the story.
